A kerbed alloy and a chipped windscreen are both jobs you keep meaning to sort out. One of them is an MOT item.
A chip in your line of sight will fail an MOT, and chips spread across a cold night far more readily than people expect. It is a much smaller job before it becomes a crack.
Kerbed and scuffed wheels are cosmetic until they are not. A buckled rim will show up as a vibration through the wheel long before it shows up on the tyre.
