What people ring and ask

Where are you?: 2-4 Station Rd, Long Eaton, Nottingham NG10 2DG. It is the Station Road that runs down towards the railway, and we have been on it since 1981.
Do you do MOTs?: Yes. We are a DVSA-registered MOT test station, site number 62390. Ring with the registration and the date the certificate runs out, and we will tell you when we can fit you in.
Which classes of MOT can you test?: Ring and ask, and tell us what the vehicle is. The online directories disagree with each other about this, and we would rather you heard it from us than from a listing somebody else wrote.
If it fails, can you do the repairs?: Yes. That is the point of a garage that tests as well as repairs: you are not sent off to arrange the work somewhere else and bring it back.
What will it cost?: Ring and describe the job, or bring the car down and we will look at it. You will get a real number rather than a range that turns out to be wrong.
How long have you been going?: Since 1981. The limited company behind the garage, Trent Valley Service Centre Limited, was incorporated in 2003, but the workshop is a lot older than the paperwork.
Do you work on older and classic cars?: Yes. Tell us what you have got. Some jobs on an older car are worth talking through before anybody books a date.

Getting here

Station Road runs down towards the railway at the eastern end of Long Eaton. We are a short drive from Sandiacre, Sawley, Breaston, Draycott, Toton and Stapleford, and the whole of NG10 is on the doorstep.
